I am the indie (and smutty) alter-ego of a traditionally published author of romantic comedy. Daydreaming is my superpower, and I’ve been telling myself stories for as long as I can remember. Writing them down and sharing them with others came later, and I still can’t believe my luck that I get to do that.
I’m a huge fan of romantic fiction in all its forms, and as Cleary James I indulge my passion for writing hot, steamy love stories with complex characters and emotional intensity.
I’m a full-time writer, a part-time TV-watcher, a devoted red wine drinker, and a world class procrastinator with a love of travel and a strange fondness for jigsaws. When I’m not burning up my keyboard, I’m happiest curled up at home with a book or DVD, or spending time with friends and family in a favorite restaurant.
